It's important to schedule the set up, transfer or cancellation of utilities before closing day!
Buyers: The week before closing is a good time to call or go online to set up all of the utilities you will need for your new home.
Below you will find utility company information for Tulsa and the surrounding areas. We recommend getting them set up well ahead of time to avoid any interruption in services!
Sellers: You also will want to call or go online to terminate your service. Please set the turn off date for a day after closing, as sometimes there are delays and you will want them on, especially in times of inclement weather. This also ensures that all the mechanicals can be checked during the buyer's final walkthrough or final inspections. We speak from experience with these tips!
