Today Jennie sat down with Steve Hahn of the Parent Child Center of Tulsa, a nonprofit agency that seeks to prevent child abuse and neglect through education, treatment and advocacy.
Steve says that the organization partners with schools, hospitals and other nonprofit agencies to offer educational programs for both kids and adults, as well as counseling services and in-home visits to help adults learn great parenting skills. In these times of Covid-19, most services are now offered virtually to maintain safety for all participants.
The Parent Child Center serves between 70,000 and 80,0000 people annually and heavily relies on grant funding, as well as generous donations from individuals who support its important mission.
