Tulsa Looks Good on Neighbors Along the Line - The Wolek Group | Tulsa Realtor
Today Jennie sat down with Shannon Chambers, executive director at Neighbors Along the Line, a nonprofit agency in west Tulsa that seeks to “feed the hungry, heal the sick, and teach the children.”
Shannon said that Neighbors Along the Line has existed for more than 44 years to create solutions for the underserved population of our community. The organization operates a food pantry, a medical clinic for uninsured or underinsured individuals, and a literacy program, as well as GED preparation and testing. He said the small staff is passionate about their work, but help is always needed, especially now that so many members of the community have been affected by the economic downturn.
