Join Philbrook Museum of Art for a special screening of “Forest in a City,” a story about Tulsa’s Turkey Mountain. There will even be a post-film talk with guests including Jeff Edwards (River Parks Authority) and Chris Azbell (College of Muscogee Nation Land Extension Coordinator). The screening will take place at 7 p.m. on May 29. More information here.

Tulsa is celebrating 100 years of Route 66 with the Capital Cruise, a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® attempt for the largest classic car parade. Thousands of vintage vehicles will cruise through the city, accompanied by vendors, live music, and festivities throughout the weekend. We are excited to announce the grand opening of the Blue Whale Visitor Center on Saturday, May 30, in Catoosa. The festivities include a 5K and Fun Run, a vendor market with crafts and food from Cabin Boys Brewery, a ribbon-cutting at 2:00 p.m., live music from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m., and a fireworks display at 8:30 p.m. Come celebrate this milestone for Catoosa and Route 66!
